November 9 Release Follow
Welcome to our first November release! We have a bit in store, so let's dive in.
NEW! - Access Tokens
The previous functionality of the "Shared Key" used with Elevated Access has been replaced with Access Tokens. What the access token allows is for every Evo directory to have its own encryption key tied to an access token. With Access Tokens, you can create Elevated Access encryption keys specifically for individual customers or directories.
Take a look at the Access Tokens support article to learn more: - Access Tokens
NEW! - Evo Credential Provider and LDAPS installation
With the previously mentioned Access Token functionality available, new versions of the Credential Provider and LDAPS agent have been released to use Access Tokens. Installations of the Credential Provider will need an Access Token in order to use Evo's Elevated Access capabilities.
FIXED! - Page Pagination
Several of our pages within the portal had issues with pagination. This has been fixed throughout the portal and all data should now populate as expected.
IMPROVED - Billing & Licenses
We have improved the Billing & Licenses page to allow admin users to purchase licenses for their entire environment instead of per customer. The result is that billing will be consolidated to a single monthly bill instead of one bill per customer. Admin users will still be required to allocate purchased licenses to their customers, but allocations don't impact billing. We have also added the "deactivate customer" option that will remove all licenses within a customer and return them to the overall license pool for the environment.
