Getting Started Guide Follow
Welcome! With this guide we’ll walk you through the basic configuration needed to get you up and running quickly.
Step 1: Register for a trial. Our Sales team is at the ready to discuss Evo with you and get you setup on a trial. Schedule time with our team to get started.
Step 2: Complete registration. As part of your account registration, you should have received an email. Click login and create a new password link in the message to complete the account registration.
Step 3: Install the Evo Secure Login app on your Android, or Apple device. Attached to the welcome email you received there should be a PNG file, open the file and scan the QR Code.
Step 4: Add or Sync users. Once you’ve logged in to your Evo portal, let’s go ahead and add a directory to sync your users. If you’d rather not sync users at this time, you can always add people.
Step 5: Add client sites (customers). If you synced the users to your main account, and want to expand your reach, you can create a new client, or customer. Once the tenant has been added, don’t forget to add a directory to sync the users.
With the basic setup and configuration complete, you’re ready to start using Evo. But before we start getting all your users using Evo, let’s be sure that we have privileged access management set as expected.
Step 6: Assign tenant restrictions to your administrators. Now that your users and clients (customers) have been added, it is time to determine which customers each user with a user type of admin should have access.
Step 7: Create and assign the appropriate permission groups. The best way to ensure that your users are granted the correct access to your Evo Secure admin portal is to create the appropriate Role-Based Permissions.
Step 8: Defining the shared accounts and elevated assignment groups. There may be cases where a user must have elevated permissions to best support your clients. As part of determining the appropriate access, you can create a shared account and elevated assignment group your users are connected.
Now with the privileged access management set, your users are ready to start using Evo while supporting your clients.
You can always further enhance your configuration by integrating your instance of Evo with SAML enabled web applications that may be in your toolkit.
Remember, we’re always here to help or answer any questions you might have. Just submit a support ticket, and we’ll be sure to get back to you in a timely manner.
