CHANGED! Keys
Previously in Evo keys were associated to a device, such as a smartphone device. As we have devices being managed separately, it was time to rethink keys within Evo Secure Login.
Managing keys is easy, within your Evo admin portal, you can add a single key, or upload keys in bulk. You can also, change the keys status (enable or deactivate keys), or if necessary, delete misplaced keys.
IMPROVED! QR Codes for admins
For end-users the QR Code could be (re)scanned after logging into the Evo user portal. However, for administrators you needed to add a new Key to your user or have a Welcome email sent that included a QR Code.
With the changes to the key’s association and the removal of keys from the user profile, we carefully considered the appropriate workflow.
If you’re an administrator and are logged into the Evo admin portal, you’ll now find the QR code under your user profile.
If you’ve lost, damaged, or are replacing your phone and are unable to login due to no OTP available. You’ll still need another administrator to send you a welcome email with a QR Code attached, so you can log in.
IMPROVED! General look and feel
In the name of continuous improvements, we’ve been working hard to improve the look, feel, and usability of the application. We hope you’ll agree that the little changes here and there have been for the better.
Although the global look and feel is available, we’re still slowly working our way through updating the workflow for all locations. Over the next few iterations, you’ll notice the look, feel, and flow change around you.
