Evo Directory as a Service (DaaS) Follow
When you have a customer that currently doesn't have a source to sync with, use Evo Cloud Directory-as-a-Service (DaaS). Using Evo DAAS enables you to provide all the of the incredible security features that Evo has to offer for customers that don't have a domain. Once the directory is created, you’ll need to add users directly to Evo.
- From the left nav menu, select My Company. Alternatively, select Customers and and choose a customer from the list.
- Select Directories.
- Select the Evo Cloud tab.
- Enter a directory name.
- Click Create Directory.
- Add users by following the information mentioned below.
Evo Credential Provider Login
Now that you've created your directory as a service, you must create matching LOCAL users in order to authenticate against the cloud using the Evo Credential Provider. These users must share the same username on both the local machine and Evo Cloud, before the @ sign in the email. For Example:
User on Local machine: supertestuser
User on Evo Cloud: supertestuser@gmail.com
